Florence Festival - Participation Fees

Entrance Fee


For students
and graduates (under 30 years)

Permits the entrance to all the Festival Venues and includes the activities of the Festival:
-  participation to the conferences, case histories, company presentations,
presentation of the projects during the Degree Presentation Session - limited spaces (only available for the projects uploaded in the archive - read here all the instruction)
-  Poster Display - presentation of the projects on A2 panels - limited spaces (more information below)

-  visits to the poster sessions
-  visits to the company and university stands

Registration can be done on site, but is not comprehensive of the degree presentation and the Poster Session.

Workshop participation fee 50 € (VAT included) for each workshop
To be added to the entrance fee to the Festival

Permits the participation to the chosen workshops which take place from the 21st to the 28th of November 2009 (read more on the workshops' program)

The number of seats available for each workshop are limeted and you should book in adavance. The remaining places will be communicated through the workshop webpage.

Poster Display
40 € (VAT included) for those who don't partecipate to the Festival
Included in the Registration fee for those who participate in the Festival

All the participants in "Degree & Profession" who have published their degree projects on the the database for the 2009 Edition can

Exhibit their project on panels. Size of the works should be comparable to an A2 paper (60x42cm), horizontal. The name of the author shall be displayed on the poster using the tag that you can download here (available soon). The setting up of the exhibition will take place on the 24th of November 2009. The poster can be brought by its author the 24th or can be sent directly to the organizing office (Fly Events Srl - Via del Giglio 10, 50123 Firenze) by October 30th, 2009. The exhibition space should be booked and paid in advance.

The authors that come to Florence can present their work to the international audience during the Festival, in the Degree Presentation session. Only the projects presonally presented by the author will participate to the Smart Presentation Award. (Prize of 4.000* €)

*The prizes shall be awarded after tax deductions.

Universities and Institutions € 500 (vat included) for each University or Institution
€ 40 (vat included) for each project to be displayed in the expo

Universities and Institutions will be given the opportunity to:

Present the works of their students in the Poster Display. The students must be enrolled in the virtual database on www.florence-expo.com and the registration fee for the poster is 40€ for each poster. We kindly ask you to send the list of the works (author, title, faculty and university) to the address info@florence-expo.com and to proceed with the payment through bank transfer to book the exhibition space.

Present the institution/university to the students and companies in the exhibition area. The fee will  provide a desk to present the institutional material which may consist of courses, masters and doctorate opportunities, the logo and the link of the institution on the website www.florence-expo.com. Information will be available  starting from the moment of registration and payment (Logo in a *.jpg format, link and short presentation must be sent to the office at info@florence-expo.com) and the logo on the final program will be distributed at the Festival (about 2000 pieces).

Deadline for sending the logo is October 15th 2009

The registration fee for the institutions covers the entry to the expo area. If the University wishes also to participate in the scientific sessions (conferences, testimonials and company preentations) they should pay the fee for each single registration.

THERE WILL BE NO REIMBURSEMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES FOR ANY CANCELLATIONS.

VISA SUPPORT
The Organizing Office can help participants with the visa by issuing invitation letter and voucher that will be prepared once the registration and complete payment will be recieved. If you wish to ask for this service you should send before the 1st of November 2009 to info@florence-expo.com the following information:

-  Complete Name and Last Name (as in the passport)
-  Number of the passport and validity (and *.Pdf or *.Jpg copy of valid passport)
-  Date and place of birth
-  Complete address (where you wish to receive all the documents)

-  Dates of permanence in Florence
The documents will be sent to the applicant by record delivery letter (takes up to 15 days to receive). If you wish to receive the letter in shorter time, faster expedition can be arranged and the cost is upon you and must be paid before the mailing.
