International Student Workshops

21st - 28th November 2009

The International Student Workshops are organized during the week before the Florence World Festival giving the students and graduates the opportunity to meet and work together in international groups on topics of international interest.
To provide the best possible interaction, the workshop will have a limited number of participants that will be decided by the organizer.

The Program of each workshop will include:

21st November 2009 - Arrival

22nd November 2009 - Opening of the workshop

23rd and 24th November 2009 (Morning) - Working days within the international groups, based on the indications given by the project leaders and professors and visits to the Museums (Accademia Gallery, Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens, Bargello Museum, San Mark Museum, ... the list of the Museums is still to be confirmed)

24th November 2009 (Afternoon) - Opening of the Florence World Festival and Welcome Cocktail

25th and 26th November 2009 - Partecipation to the sessions of the Florence World Festival, with the opportunity to get to know international professionals in different sectors that will exchange their professional experience

27th November 2009 - presentation of the output of the International Groups of each workshop and Closing of the Festival

28th November 2009 - Departure

Field of: Fine Arts

The Tower of Universal Meaning under the wings of Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation

Specifications: Research - Fine Arts students make sketches and paintings of towers of their homeland. History students write short essay on meaning of tower in history of mankind. All these works are brought to Florence.  [...]

How to register

Registration for single participants:

If you wish to register you can go to this page and register for the entrance fee of the Festival and for the workshop directly. You can also book your accommodation with us. You should also register on the Foundation website to be able to follow the preliminary works done by the groups of students coming from the international universities.

The registration and payment should be done as soon as possible, since the places at the workshops are limited.

Registration for groups:

If you are a professor wishing to participate with a group of students, please contact the project leader and, once you will receive his/her confirmation, you will be able to register from the page on the Foundation website. Each student and professor should register and pay on that site.

The special conditions of participation have limited spaces available, so you should proceed with the registration of your group as soon as possible. Deadline for registration and payments for the groups is the 6th of October 2009.
