NEW PRIZE FOR 2009! The President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, recognized the importance of "Degree & Profession" and offered also this year 3 medals for the best projects chosen between the once presented in Florence during the Florence World Festival, 24-27 November 2009. The winners will be selected by the international Scientific Committee of Degree & Profession. ODESSA INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 20-23 MAGGIO 2009 From the 20 to 23 of May, 2009 took place in Odessa, Ukraine, the second  interdisciplinar "International Regional Festival - Degree & Profession", organized in collaboration by the Odessa Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and the Odessa State Economics University. Partecipants from numerous countries worked together for 3 days, with conferences and events organized in parallel by the two universities to suite the two main topics: Architecture / Design and Economics / Tourism. more than 25 degree projects were presented in the two categories: - Architecture and Design - Economics and Tourism The pictures will be soon available on-line! 2008 WINNERS The Virtual Expo AWARDS of 2008 are now on-line: Click here to see the list of the winning projects! BAKU INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL 14-19 MARCH 2009 From the 14th to the 19th of March took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, the first "International Regional Festival - Degree & Profession", on the subject of Traditional Islamic Architecture. Participants from 6 countries came together for four days to listen to conferences and discuss regarding Architecture and the Conservation of Heritage. The energy of more then 100 participants, students, graduates, professionals and professors created an event that will be a milestone for the Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation, and its mission "For Intercultural Dialogue - Life Beyond Tourism", showing how coming together under a common goal can break down the barriers. More then 25 degree project were presented (Degree, Master and PhD) and were selected to come to Florence for a stage: Timur Kiryashov, Nurlan Koishanbaev, Leyla Shiraliyeva and Cavid Mammadov.
